I loved reading “The Hobbit” with my boys last year. I’m holding off on the LotR trilogy for now and reading through the “Redwall” series instead. I’m hoping that starting with “Redwall” will make LotR a little bit more accessible for my crew in a couple of years. (I definitely enjoyed “The Hobbit” more than my kids did. I was the one who wanted one more chapter. 😂)

My husband is reading LOTR for the first time right now, and I am so excited for him to finish so we can talk about it!
One of my recent favorites is The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. I think about it regularly.
