“Never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them.” - Lemony Snicket
I have a bag of books I carry with me all over the house (and sometimes in public).
In that bag are my of-the-moment favorite picture books for the kids, read aloud novels for the whole family, and my own reads (generally a novel, a poetry book, and a nonfiction, and my journal).
(Also in this bag: pens from the library, hair-ties, crumpled up scraps of paper that sometimes serve as bookmarks.)
This monthly newsletter is a glimpse into that bag of books (plus my opinions on them, minus the pens, hair-ties, and book marks.)
Each month, I hope that I can give you ideas of what book to grab next in the library—for your littles who are still in picture books, for your family to read aloud and enjoy together, and for yourself, when you get that rare minute alone.
