The Baby Loss Guide by Zoe Clarke-Coates
A specific and detailed guide to pregnancy loss, with 60-day guided journal. The personal stories along with the facts about different kinds of pregnancy loss were especially helpful for me.
The Moon is Always Round by Jonathan Gibson
A picture book about pregnancy loss that points to the hope in Christ. I can’t read this one without crying.
Suffering is Never for Nothing by Elisabeth Elliot
A book about suffering in general, a practical theology book that is relatable and real.
A Grief Observed by C.S. Lewis
A philosophical and theological look at the affects of grief on a believer. I love the honesty of this book and could relate to so much here.
Holding on to Hope by Nancy Guthrie
This study walks you through Job while relating it to Guthrie’s devastating story of infant loss. I thought her devotions were the perfect length and personal focus for a time when it is hard to concentrate in the fog of grief.

There are many, many other books—I can honestly say that I may have read ALL of them, especially if it touches on infant loss. But these are the five that I would read more than once and that I would put in the hands of a grieving mom or dad.
